Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World 2016 Week 37:
Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewellery?
Yes, I have several rocks I have picked up in my travels and some crystals and stones that have healing properties. ‘No’ to pet rock.
What is your greatest strength or weakness?
Greatest strength: I have survived some horrific experiences.
Greatest weakness: Procrastination. Why do something today that I can put off until tomorrow? 😉
What makes you feel grounded?
Being the Queen of my own castle.
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
This is a tough one. I love ice cream (wondering if I could exist eating it three times a day??)….For health reasons I guess I will have to give it up and stick to warm food.
Procrastination for me too! I generally put stuff off until it doesn’t need doing any more (or it’s too late).

Same here! And there is quite a bit of grumbling on my part if there is no way to avoid doing certain things 🙂

One thing that I try to enforce for myself when it comes to procrastination is attaching what has to be done to a reward, of sorts. There are things that I need to do and things that I really, really want to do. Although I often fail on this, I make myself do the have to things and then reward myself by doing the want to things. Knowing that I will get to do what I want to do once I am done helps me to endure the things that I have to do, and then I can more fully enjoy the thing that I wanted to do without the have to hanging over my head.
Sometimes, especially here lately, the things that I want to do are winning and the have to things are still waiting or, at least, not getting the best effort from me.
Ice cream three times a day sounds yummy. 🙂
Have a blessed day!

My problem is I tend to reward myself whether I’ve tackled the task or not 😉 Eventually everything gets done and then I reward myself again! I also often eat my dessert first. 🙂

I’ve been there lots of times myself. I’m trying to be better about it, but sometimes I think, “Well, why *shouldn’t* I just go ahead and do what I want to do? This stuff will still be here waiting and the fun stuff might not be.”
Double rewards works. 🙂
I think that desert first is a great idea. It isn’t worth the risk of filling up on real food first. 🙂

I guess I could exist on just ice cream.
I’m going to start a Procrastinators Club……tomorrow or….. someday 🙂

As an old saying says, “Forfeiting ice-cream is easy, I’ve done it thousands of times” 🙂

Exactly! That’s why procrastination is my friend regarding ice cream 🙂

Procrastination …. such a nice long word which takes real time and effort to pronounce and spell.
